Preheat oven to 400°. Roll out thawed puff pastry sheet into a 10-by-10 inch square on a floured surface. Prick all over using a fork. Cut dough into 16 (2 1/2") squares. Place squares in mini muffin pan, leaving some dough overhanging. Bake for 8 minutes.
Gently press with back of a spoon the dough to form a well. Fill with 1 tsp. Brie and 1/2 tsp fig jam. Bake for another 7 minutes. Let slightly cool before removing filled shells.

Thyme leaves is a great herb to use with brie cheese and fig jam.
