Spaghetti Aglio E Olio

Ingredients
  

  • 1 pound spaghetti
  • 1/2 cup olive oil
  • 6 cloves garlic
  • 1/2 tsp red pepper flakes

Instructions
 

  • Bring a large stockpot of salted water to a boil. Add spaghetti and cook until al dente.
  • Heat the olive oil in a large sauté pan over medium heat. Add the garlic and red pepper flakes. Sauté for 3-5 minutes. Be careful not to burn the garlic. Remove from heat if your pasta is not done.
  • Add 1/2 cup of pasta water to your sauté pan. Transfer the pasta to your sauté pan. Toss continuously until it is evenly coated. If dry, add a little more pasta water.
  • To serve…garnish with fresh basil or parsley. Red pepper flakes are optional. Love to add chicken!
