Pizza Dough Recipe
Pizza Night! Sharing my favorite pizza dough recipe for oven or pizza ovens including set up and timing for entertaining at home. Great save for later!
Ingredients
- 153 grams 00 flour 1 cup + 1 tablespoon
- 153 grams all-purpose flour 1 cup + 2 tsps
- 8 grams fine sea salt 1 tsp
- 200 grams lukewarm water shy of a cup
- 2 grams active dry yeast 3/4 tsp
- 4 grams Extra Virgin Olive Oil 1 tsp
Instructions
- In large mixing bowl, stir together flours and salt.
- In small mixing bowl, stir together water, yeast, and oil. Combine. Add to flour mixture. Knead with hands until well combined for 3 minutes. Cover with towel. Rest for 15 minutes.
- Knead rested dough for 3 minutes. Cut into 2 or 4 equal pieces and shape into a ball. Place on floured surface and cover. Let rise for 3-4 hours at room temperature. Can refrigerate for 8-24 hours, but remove 45 minutes before shaping pizza.
- To make pizza, place each dough ball on a floured surface and stretch into pizza shape.
