2 tips to a moist and delicious meatloaf! Add 2 tablespoon of cold water to recipe. Spread thin to approximately 1 inch. Add a great sauce to ensure sweetness in every bite!

Ingredients
  

Meatloaf Base

  • 2 pounds beef, pork, and or Italian sausage: combination of your liking
  • 1 cup bread crumbs
  • 1/4 cup chopped onions
  • 2 large eggs
  • 2 tbsps COLD water
  • 3 tbsps fresh herbs: parsley and/or basil

Sweet Sauce Topping

  • 3/4 cup ketchup
  • 3/4 cup Brown Sugar
  • 1 tbsp yellow mustard

Instructions
 

  • Combine all ingredients of Meatloaf Base into a large bowl. Mix completely.
  • Place into 8½x11 pan and spread to 1- to 1½ inches.
  • Mix Sweet Sauce ingredients together.
  • Spread over meatloaf base.
  • Bake 375° for 1/2 hour

❤️Substitution: You can use a packet of dried onion soup mix instead of onion, salt, pepper, and herbs.
