Delicious side dish made with your favorite combination of cheese or great when you have leftover charcuterie board cheese

Ingredients
  

  • 16 oz macaroni cooked
  • 8 tbsp butter
  • 1/4 cup flour
  • 4 cups whole milk, heavy cream, and or heavy whipping cream
  • 6 cups variety of cheese of liking shredded or small diced

Topping

  • 1 1/2 cups panko or bread crumbs (Italian or plain)
  • 3 tbsp butter
  • 1/2 cup Parmesan Cheese

Instructions
 

  • Preheat oven to 350°
  • Lightly grease a 4 quart baking dish or Dutch oven
  • Shred or dice up cheese.
  • Cook pasta according to the package instructions. Drain and let cool. Drizzle with olive oil and stir to coat.
  • Melt butter and whisk in flour over medium heat until bubbly.
  • Whisk in the milk until smooth and bubbly. Let thicken approximately 2 minutes.
  • Add cheese 2 cups at a time until smooth.
  • Stir in cooked pasta ad combine.
  • Combine topping ingredients and sprinkle on top.
  • Bake approximately 15 minutes until golden brown.
