Meatloaf
2 tips to a moist and delicious meatloaf! Add 2 tablespoon of cold water to recipe. Spread thin to approximately 1 inch. Add a great sauce to ensure sweetness in every bite!
Ingredients
Meatloaf Base
- 2 pounds beef, pork, and or Italian sausage: combination of your liking
- 1 cup bread crumbs
- 1/4 cup chopped onions
- 2 large eggs
- 2 tbsps COLD water
- 3 tbsps fresh herbs: parsley and/or basil
Sweet Sauce Topping
- 3/4 cup ketchup
- 3/4 cup Brown Sugar
- 1 tbsp yellow mustard
Instructions
- Combine all ingredients of Meatloaf Base into a large bowl. Mix completely.
- Place into 8½x11 pan and spread to 1- to 1½ inches.
- Mix Sweet Sauce ingredients together.
- Spread over meatloaf base.
- Bake 375° for 1/2 hour

❤️Substitution: You can use a packet of dried onion soup mix instead of onion, salt, pepper, and herbs.
