7 Layer Recipe
7-layer salad is an American dish that includes a combination of seven layers of ingredients: iceberg lettuce, sweet peas, cauliflower, bacon pieces, and Good Season Dry Mix. The salad is topped with a mayonnaise-based dressing and Parmesan cheese. Recipe Below. This easy salad is a classic potluck and entertaining favorite because it is a good make-ahead option. You can easily make this salad a day in advance and “seal” the vegetables in with the dressing layer on top, cover it in plastic wrap and refrigerate it.*****Correction in my video: I unfortunately did not give correct ingredient for the original recipe: Good Season Italian Dry Mix is what is used. I do however substitute the Hidden Valley Ranch Dry Mix.Great Vegan option by omitting the bacon and use vegan mayonnaise. Great food prep option by using mason jars with same layering effect.
